Growing up in Colorado, Kira started skiing, hiking, and biking from a very young age. In addition she competed in gymnastics for ten years, which gave her a strong athletic background. When starting college Kira joined an Olympic Weightlifting club on campus because she missed training. Through weightlifting she was introduced to CrossFit, and has been doing CrossFit in some capacity since 2015.
Kira loves CrossFit because it encourages athletes to learn something new every day they come into the gym. Most importantly, it makes fitness fun, social, and a part of your daily routine.
